Day 236: Jeremiah 51-52

I guess perhaps it was a comfort to Israel/Judah during their captivity that Jeremiah had prophesied that Babylon was going to eventually fall as well.

Did the number of Jews that Nebuchadnezzar took into exile seem small to anyone else?  I guess I was just imagining a whole lot more people.

I really did not enjoy reading about the details of the temple being destroyed and carried off.  Fortunately we have the whole story and this is just another part of God's perfect, amazing, way-cool plan!
