Day 217:2 Kings 22-23; 2 Chronicles 34-35

I know I am slipping further behind, but I am actually in North Carolina at the Willow Creek Leadership Summit. Trying to squeeze in reading when I can.

I am also reading from my purse Bible today which has no notes. This is probably a good thing since I think I tend to lean on them a little too much.

I can only imagine Josiah's reaction upon finding and reading the Book of the Law. Here he had this evil father who was a bad king. Then he learns what is right and immediately tears his robe. He had already been king for 18 years at this time, so I'm sure it really rocked his world.

Wow, there sure were a lot of tearing down of alters and high places in chapter 23! Too bad the next king comes along and reverses everything.
