Day 228: Jeremiah 32-34

Buying the land probably seemed somewhat foolish since Jeremiah had been preaching the Babylonians taking that region over.  But he was looking ahead to the future and banking on God's promises that God's people would return to the land.

I like the term in 32:39...I will give them singleness of heart and action.  

In chapter 33, I think it is cool when it predicts that Jesus will take the place of both king and priest.  He will rule the people, and also maintain fellowship with God, mediating for the people.
