Day 213: Isaiah 64-66

"We are the clay, you are the potter; we are all the work of your hand."  Then why do I try to do things my way so much?  He designed me for a specific purpose (just like a specific piece of pottery), yet how many times do I run from that purpose and try to to do something else all together?

In chapter 66 God contrasts one who is humble and contrite in spirit before Him with one who goes through the motions, but his heart is not in it.  As I head off to worship this morning at church, I am going to try and keep these verses in mind.
