Day 181: 2 Chronicles 19-23

So even though Jehoshaphat made a bad decision when he was with Ahab, it sounds like he is back in Judah and is doing some right things when he appoints and trains some judges.  He also prays a great prayer in chapter 20.  The last line in particular is something I should remember. "We do not know what to do, but our eyes are upon you."

So after Jehoshaphat, we get Jehoram who is awful!  Kills his brothers, promote idol worship and marries a woman who worships idols.  Then there is Ahaziah who is no better.  And next is Athalia the wicked queen mother who takes over after killing off most of the royal family!  At last a priest decided to take control of the situation and Athalia is overthrown.  Ah, the drama.
