Day 175: 2 Chronicles 10-12

I guess a take away from this is be careful who you go to for advice.  It's often tempting to listen to the more current "in" people, but experience is often much more valuable.  My kids think that my views are old fashioned and I probably don't give them the answers they want to hear sometimes.  I wonder if I am any different in who I seek for counsel.

I wonder if God still says this (12:5): "You have abandoned me; therefore I now abandon you to your enemy (Shishak).  I think he absolutely does.
