Day 174: 1 Kings 12-14

The story of 'the man of God' is most interesting in chapter 13.  We don't even know this guy's name even though there is a quite detailed story about him.  I guess that he was a man of God is all we need to know.  What could be more important than that anyway?

Imagine traveling to hear a prophecy about your family and learning that when you step foot back at home, your son will die.  Wouldn't you consider not going?  Does that mean that prophecy is inevitable?  I kind of thought it was meant as a warning so that you could change your ways.  Hmmm.
