Day 168: Proverbs 25-26

I like 25:28 and the comparison of self-control to a city wall.  Those walls were so important in preventing attacks from enemies.  Self control does the same thing.  Lack of it is like knocking a chunk out of that wall and thinking: 'an enemy won't find the opening', 'I still have the rest of the wall.'

I like these:
  • Without wood a fire goes out; without gossip a quarrel dies down.
  • Do not answer a fool according to his folly, or you will be like him yourself.
  • If you argue your case with a neighbor, do not betray another man's confidence, or he who hears it may shame you and you will never lose your bad reputation.
