Day 173: Proverbs 30-31

What a statement and one I should remember every day when I do my reading: "Every word of God is flawless; he is a shield to those who take refuge in him."

30:15-33 is interesting.  It is almost written as riddles.

Concerning the wife of noble character, my notes point out that her appearance is never mentioned.  Her attractiveness comes entirely from her character.  So counter culture today!

I like "Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised."
