Day 5: Job 6-9

It's interesting if you imagine that God and satan were sitting back and watching all of these interactions to see how Job would respond. Every time Job borders on anger at God, satan feels like he scores a point and he is just waiting for a full "knock out" when Job might actually curse God.

I have found the notes (in my life application Bible) especially helpful so far in Job.

  1. Job says, "If only there were someone to arbitrate between us, to lay a hand on us both, someone to remove God's rod from me, so that his terror would frighten me no more. Then I would speak up without fear of him" 9:33-35

It is so great that we have that now!

  2. The first day of Job I was really worried that I had how many days of this left but the second day of Job was surprising. I found the openess of Job and his friends refreshing.
