As I was reading along today, I was reminded who the author is. MOSES! We get excited when John Grisham comes out with a new book. We are interested in the personal lives of our favorite authors. How cool is it that we are reading stories that were written down by the hand of Moses! Okay, maybe I'm just weird about stuff like that.
Anyway, my favorite 2 names I read today were 2 of the sons of Benjamin: Muppim and Huppim. Now why didn't I think of those when my twins were born?!?!
I was amazed how Joseph totally conned the Egyptians out of all their money, livestock, and land. They were total indebted to Pharoah. Pretty smart guy. And cool that them being shepherds was an abomination to the Egyptians so they got to live by themselves in Goshen. But... we know what's coming. Being in Egypt is about to bite them in the butt! :(

Are we in America on the same path of giving everything away to the government for them to "save" us during this time? At what price and how far will we compromise to have the government fix the financial troubles many of us created in our own lives?
