New story, new characters. God continues to use imperfect people for his perfect plan. My first thought is "this guy is a killer....and God is going to give him such an important job!?!?!? Crazy!" I am reminded that we all screw up but we are still useable by God. He looks at hearts while often we can't see past actions and personalities.
According to Acts 7:29-30, 40 years go by with Moses in Midian before the burning bush. That's half a lifetime to us!
