Day 363: Revelation 6-11

Being a mom who has had to wash (or try to wash!) blood stains out of clothes many times. Not an easy task. And yet in chapter 7 "they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the lamb." I imagine most robes were a dingy grey color during the time this was written. This is just symbolic that Christ does something for us that we could NEVER do for ourselves by making us pure and wiping away our sins.

It is just one amazingly awful thing after another. I find the locusts especially scary....5 months of pure torture by those nasty things!

I find it hard to believe that people were not turning to God left and right through all this awful stuff.
