Day 335: 1 Corinthians 9-11

Working for a church, chapter 9 is good news for me. Sometimes I feel like some of the work I do is just my serving my own church. Why should I get compensated for it when others don't? This chapter assures me that it is okay.

"I have become all things to all men so that by all possible means I might save some. I do this for the sake of the gospel, that I may share in its blessings." To me this is such a grey area. To become like the world just enough to appeal to outsiders, yet not embrace what the world represents. That is a challenge.

Convicting words in chapter 11 concerning taking the Lord's Supper in an inappropriate state of mind.
