Day 336: 1 Corinthians 12-14

When I look at our church and at the same time read 12:18 "In fact God has arranged the parts of the body, every one of them, just as he wanted them to be," it is amazing to me. Every single believer in our church was placed there by God for a specific purpose. But then my heart aches for those who are just sitting in a seat and not fulfilling their purpose. The love chapter is right in there with it regarding how we are to use our gifts. My gifts were not given for MY benefit. They were given for Grace Fellowship's benefit. By not using my gifts, I am hurting other people. Sin isn't just DOING something malicious. It is also not fulfilling God's purpose for me. It is 'stealing' from other believers and ultimately sinning against God.
