Day 345: Romans 14-16

"May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you a spirit of unity among yourselves as you follow Christ Jesus, so that with one heart and mouth you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ." Why does this "unity" seem so elusive in our church? I don't know if I would go so far as to say there are divisions, but it just doesn't feel like everyone is cheering each other on in life. People are okay just walking by each other in the halls sometimes without acknowledgement. And these are people who know each other's names and have at least a casual relationship. It should be an awesome reunion each time our church gathers yet it sometimes doesn't feel much different than attending an open house at school or some other type of event. I am going to try and be more deliberate in this area.
