Day 334: 1 Corinthians 5-8

Chapter 5 talks about sexual sin and even boasting about that sin. I think this happens today as well. Certain things are not just accepted, but they are celebrated! So why not boast! Certain sins become a source of pride....as if the sin itself is not bad enough.

Convicting words about honoring God with your body. Chapter 6 is mainly talking about sexual immorality, but there are so many other areas that fit this admonition....eating, drinking, exercise, even cutting which so many teenagers are doing now. Honor God with your body.

In chapter 7 Paul sure is a proponent of remaining single, isn't he? Makes it sound pretty appalling!
