Day 362: Revelation 1-5

For each book, my study Bible gives the purpose of the book., For Revelation it says "to reveal the full identity of Christ and to give warning and hope to believers." I am going to try and keep this in my mind as I read through it.

I think all of these letters to the churches hold something for us. Have I forsaken my first love? Am I lukewarm? Do I compromise my faith>? Am I superficial?

I cannot even begin to imagine the beauty of God's throne as it is described in chapter 4! And the worship!

Although there is so much mystery around this book of the Bible, there is enough there to give us a glimpse of what is to come. And if this is only a glimpse.....man, are we in for something incredible!
