Day 9: Job 21-23

What is it built inside us that cries for justice? When we see evil people prosper or "good" people suffer, something inside us screams out. And sometimes it doesn't matter how far along in life we get, things just don't seem fair. The more I realize that the stuff of this world doesn't matter (material things, wealth, power, health, etc.) and that eternity is what matters, the less the "unfair" stuff seems to bother me. Yeah, that unethical person might have millions of dollars, but that is all they have and when they die, that's all there is. The book of Job really gets me thinking about this stuff.

Am also seeing how advice, though well-meaning and sometimes accurate, might not be the right thing to say in a situation.
