Okay, so now I just read chapter 20. So much for me theory that Abraham should know he can trust God. Here he is giving away his wife as his sister again!

Day 18: Genesis 19-21
I wonder what I am supposed to take away from Chapter 19 and the story of Lot, his escape from the city of Sodom, and the escapade with his daughters.....For me it is more of God fulfilling his promises to Abraham, by protecting Lot. I'm sure when Abraham realized his nephew was the sole survivor from a whole city, he realized he could trust God.
