I am curious why Noah lived so long. Back in a previous chapter we read that God had determined that man's days would only be 120 years. I guess by reading a version without footnotes, some of these little questions will have to go unanswered.
As I am thinking about God confusing their language in order to scatter the people, I think about how God causes things to happen in my life to push me out of my comfort zone. Maybe Scott's job changes causing us to move from a place we loved living....maybe causing other people to move in and out of my life....it is interesting to look back and think about this concept. At the time I viewed these situations very differently than I do as I look back at the big journey.
