Day 17: Genesis 16-18

I am trying to imagine how I would have felt as Hagar. If I heard the news from an angel of what kind of man my unborn child was going to become....and it wasn't great news....how would I have responded?

I notice at the beginning of chapter 18, it says the Lord appeared again to Abraham. And yet it goes on to talk about 3 men who visit and bring news from God. I guess these were angels? I am not reading with footnotes this time.

I AM really enjoying using the New Living Translation though. VERY readable. I am using Bible Gateway on line so I have to flip back and forth between that page and this one. :-)
