Day 272: Nehemiah 11-13; Psalms 126

I imagine the celebration and dedication of the wall was similar to that of completing the temple. It was a time of fresh starts and new hope for the people. I was surprised to read that Nehemiah was not there for the dedication and celebration! Then when he returns to Jerusalem he finds things already getting messed up. It sure doesn't take long. I do have to admire Nehemiah for his boldness in confronting sin.
