Day 263: Haggai

This little book has always spoke powerfully to me about priorities and getting them straight. Just like the Israelites were putting their own homes and comfort before serving God (by re-building the temple), I too often do the same kinds of things. The result in Haggai is being dissatisfied with their 'stuff'. I think the same is true for me. If I get caught up in stuff that really has little to do with God, I am rarely satisfied and often want more.
