Day 149: 1 King 1-2, Psalm 37, 71, 94

How does someone "become king without David knowing about it?"  Adonijah's response was not what I expected as I was reading along.  I figured he would fight back when he found out Solomon was going to be king.  Instead he pleads fro mercy.

I didn't think it was such a big deal when Adonijah asked for Abishag to marry.  Apparently it was a political move that Solomon quickly saw through.  Thank goodness for footnotes for stuff like that.

I like Psalm 71.
