(96:2-3) "Sing to the Lord, praise his name; proclaim his salvation day after day. Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous deeds among all peoples." Why don't I open my mouth!?!?
101:6-7 speaks of who we choose as friends and models for our lives.
Wow, this is a lot of reading yesterday and today. What happened to the day we had 3 verses?
(105:4) "Look to the Lord and to his strength. Always look to him." What a great reminder, I needed that today.
ReplyDeleteI also noticed recurring phrases throughout these psalms of "praise him," "worship him," "give thanks." This should be how we live.
Also a lot of these psalms talk about having joy, don't see that in a lot of Christians or even in myself enough. We are too busy being stressed, busy, angry, and trying to be perfect we miss the joy in life.
