I like Psalm 20, as it is written like a blessing. "May he give you the desire of your heart and make all your plans succeed."

How often do I misjudge or misunderstand people's intentions and miss something great in my life?
ReplyDeleteHanum became suspicious of David's desire for maintaining the good relationship David had with Hanum's father after he got bad counsel. Hanum didn't seek God's input into his decision. This caused the Ammonites to go to battle against David and loose in a big way just because he was suspicious of motives. Sometimes we have to trust people and not be so quick for war, but seek peace.
