Day 141: 2 Samuel 22-23, Psalm 57

I love some of these phrases from 2 Sam 22. "He reached down from on high and took hold of me."  "He rescued me because he delighted in me."  Not for any other reason.  Reminds me of the line from the shack: "I am particularly fond of you."  "You stoop down to make me great."  

Psalm 57:  I love how every time David is in a tough situation, whether it is the result of others actions or his own sin, he runs straight to God.
