It sounds funny to "make atonement for a house." (14:53) I guess the priests did do more than sacrifices. They had to diagnose skin conditions and be home inspectors as well.

I was thinking the same thing, how the priests seemed to fill the role of doctors with diagnosing and monitoring different health conditions. We don't hear about priests other than Aaron and his two reamining sons (after the other two were killed for not offering sacrifices properly). I wonder if the priests kept everything written down on the steps for offering different sacrifices, how to diagnose leprosy, how to clean a house of a leper, etc. There is an awful lot of specifics there and the consequences of messing up are pretty severe.

Trust me, it makes you think harder and pay attention to what you are reading. I also know for me when I try to post, the first time I always get an error message, but just select post comment again and enter the new password and then it will publish it. Don't give up on the first try, it will work the second time!
