It sure didn't take long for sacrifices to be carried out incorrectly! Consequences were harsh. Sacrifices were serious, life and death business with God.
I am assuming that sacrifices were pretty much a full time job for Aaron and his sons. And I'm sure if the show "Dirty Jobs" was around then, they would definitely do an episode on that job. The amount of blood and body parts must have been overwhelming!

Wow! Look at all the sacrifices that had to be made because of our sin and as part of the people's worship too. Jesus came and was the final sacrifice as a guilt offering, sin offering, grain offering, wave offering, peace offering, etc. Now our only responsibility is to worship.
