It looks like we are going to be dwelling in the Samuels (amidst some other readings) until May 23rd! Settle in and get comfortable, eh?
I love the story of Hannah! What an example for me. Absolutely everything I have is from God, so why shouldn't I use everything He has given me to serve Him? How hard it must have been for Hannah to turn over Samuel just after he was weaned. What things in my life are really hard to turn over, and therefor I don't?
Samuel had to learn to recognize God's voice. Though there might not be an audible voice of God for us, I think we still need to recognize it.
