Day 314: Luke 22; John 13

I picture the last supper as this really emotional time when Jesus gets to be with his disciples for the last time and share important things with them before he is killed. And what do the disciples do? Immediately they go down the path of which one of them will be greatest in the kingdom! But again Jesus seems to be patient in dealing with them. We are so egocentric, aren't we???

I find it interesting that only John includes the footwashing portion of the last supper. This was such a radical thing for the disciples to experience, yet it is only mentioned one time.
