Day 274: Luke 1; John 1:1-14

After reading the OT for the last 9 months and seeing the story unfold, I can definitely see why they called these books Gospels or Good News! So much stuff we had to go through to get to this point. But then, look how much that same "stuff" extends on the other end of the cross as well. I really am getting a good glimpse at how the whole story of God's creation on earth reads. Even though I know the end of the story (I feel like I peeked at the end of a good fiction book!), the process leading up to that ending is just as important and not to ever be missed. I love it!

This part of John that we read today is some of my favorite scripture. At first it sounds kind of confusing to read, but there is so much contained in these 14 verses.
