Day 276: Matthew 2; Luke 2:39-52

Maybe you have heard this before but scholars think there is read significance in the 3 gifts the Magi brought to Jesus. Gold was a gift for a king, incense was a gift for a deity, and myrrh was a gift for a person who was going to die. These gifts may have provided the financial resources for the trip to Egypt and back.

I always enjoy this one and only story we have about Jesus as a 12 year old kid. Somehow it helps with my view of His human-ness.
