- Trust God, even in the big and scary and unknown things. Look back at what I have been delivered from already (uh.....like hell!) and realize that what is big and scary is super easy for God.
- There are consequences for my disobedience. Maybe not 40 years wandering in a desert, but there is some blessing that I, or someone else, will miss out on.
- Obedience means NOW. Not after I say no and begin to experience negative consequences. The opportunity might be gone by then.
I love Psalm 90 as it makes you think about time and the value of it. It also compares our view of time with God's.
Good thoughts Beth! To me it felt like God was not fulfilling his promise by not giving them the promised land. I guess there was no time table and He did still give it to them eventually. That makes me scared though that I can mess something up and cause God to delay His promises. Interesting to think about. I don't know that I am on the right track, but I would love to hear any comments. Although I do realize I am writing this about 2 weeks behind. Hey, I am catching up though!
